• Don’t make assumptions on a given issue – it’s important to assess the specific needs of individuals and respond accordingly.
• When it comes to predicting human behaviour, never exclude the possibility of irrational emotional reactions.
• Sometimes things will go pear-shaped despite your best efforts – when they do, give yourself a break and move on.
